Throughout law school, Sarah practiced family law, including nonprofit work with the Legal Aid Society in Lubbock and government work with the Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Division. She has a unique perspective on working with the Office of the Attorney General on child support related cases.
Sarah has successfully settled numerous divorce cases, resulting in a disproportionate property division in favor of her client. She has experience working with many local experts to value businesses and property, including in depth review of expert reports in order to negotiate and litigate high net worth and large asset property division cases.
Sarah helps her clients concentrate on post litigation outcomes to determine priorities and a course of action that is specific to the client and his or her needs.
With a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, and modification of custody or support, Sarah has honed skills to walk clients through the family law system. She also offers effective and efficient mediation services.
Sarah also prepares gestational agreements, surrogacy agreements, and pre and post marital agreements, as well as providing legal services for adoptions.
In addition to family law cases, Sarah also provides estate planning services and handles probate and guardianship matters.
